1. General Bipin Rawat gave instructions to prepare a blueprint for Air Defense Command
This is his first decision after General Bipin Rawat took over as Chief of Defense Staff on 01 January 2020. CDS General Bipin Rawat has issued instructions to prepare a proposal to create Air Defense Command to increase the strength of the country’s air and to strengthen security.
The main objective of CDS is to make indigenization of weapons and equipment to the maximum extent possible while preparing the overall defense acquisition plan for all three services. The objective of the formation of the Air Defense Command is to make the security of the country’s airspace impermeable.

After identifying the note, this app will tell the value of the note in Hindi and English through voice. According to an official statement issued by the RBI, Indian banknotes have many features. This app scan notes through a mobile camera.
4. Army Chief General Bipin Rawat becomes first Chief of Defense Staff of the country, know about this post
The central government had amended the Army rules for the CDS post a day earlier and raised the age limit to 65 years. Its notification was issued by the Ministry of Defense. The second role of the CDS will be that of the permanent chairman of the Chief of Staff Committee.
Security experts have been demanding this post since the Kargil war of 1999. After the Kargil War, the Group of Ministers (GOM), formed in 2001 under the chairmanship of the then Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani, also recommended the CDS to establish good coordination between the three armies.

6. Indian Navy banned Facebook use of its soldiers
According to the Indian Navy, ships and naval bases are now banned on all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and other messengers. The main motive behind banning the use of Facebook by Indian Marines is to ensure the security of sensitive and confidential information.
According to the Indian Navy, this decision has been taken after seven marines leaked sensitive information to enemy intelligence agencies on social media. In view of this, the use of military smartphones has been banned in all sensitive places.

8. India sets record, 67385 children born on the first day of the new year
India tops the list of 190 countries recently released by UNICEF. On the first date of 2020 in the new year, India ranks first in the whole world, where 67,385 children were born. China is followed by 46,299 children.
India is followed by China, Nigeria, Pakistan, Indonesia, America, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ethiopia. These eight countries account for 50 percent of the total children born worldwide. Worldwide, 17 percent of the children born in India alone was born on 01 January 2020.
9. ISRO to create second satellite launch center for small satellites in Tamil Nadu
The port will be built at Thutukudi in the Tuticorin district of Tamil Nadu. It will be used for the launch of small satellites. ISRO chief K Sivan said that the government has also approved the Chandrayaan-3 mission and work has started on this project.
ISRO has planned 25 missions for 2020. K Sivan announced this in a press conference. He said that the missions which were not completed in 2019 will be completed by March this year. K Sivan said on the cost of the project that Rs 250 crore will be spent on this mission.
10. China successfully launches its heaviest communications satellite
It is being said by China’s space agency that this mission will pave the way for sensitive missions to China in space. This successful launch is a major step towards China’s plan for Mars in 2020.
The satellite left for space from the Wenchang launch site in Hainan in China at 9:00 pm local time on March 5. The satellite will provide radio, TV broadcasting and broadband services to radio stations, TV stations, radio broadcasting centers and cable networks to China.
