• The age limit is as follows: 01/04/2026

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
• Must belong to EWS/Disadvantaged groups (Scheduled Caste, Child of War Widow, CWSN, HIV affected child, Orphan).
• For EWS category, annual family income should not exceed ₹1,80,000

• Free and compulsory education for children aged 6-14 years
• 25% seat reservation in private schools for children of EWS and disadvantaged groups (SC, children of war widow, CWSN, HIV affected children, orphans)
• Quality education standards and infrastructure requirements
• No discrimination on the basis of social, economic or cultural background

• 25% mandatory reservation: Private schools have to reserve 25% seats for RTE students
• Classes covered: Nursery, LKG, UKG, and Class 1.
• Neighborhood Criteria: 0-1 and 1-3 km
• Participating Schools: 7505 Schools
• Total RTE Seats: 60,479 Seats
