application fee
- General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 2360/- (2000 + 18% GST)
- SC/ST: Rs. 1180/- (1000 + 18% GST)
- Pwbd: Exempted
- Fee exemption for appointments on contract and deputation basis.
Age Limit (as on 21-12-2025)
- Professor/Additional Professor: Not more than 58 years
- Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: not more than 50 years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Eligibility
- A medical qualification included in Schedule I or II or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Post Graduate Qualification: MD/MS or equivalent recognized qualification in the relevant discipline/subject.
- M.Ch for surgical super specialty and DM or equivalent recognized qualification for medical super specialty.
pay scale
- Professor: Level-14-A (Rs. 1,68,900 – 2,20,400)
- Additional Professor: Level-13-A2+ (Rs. 1,48,200 – 2,11,400)
- Associate Professor: Level-13-A1+ (Rs. 1,38,300 – 2,09,200)
- Assistant Professor: Level-12 (Rs. 1,01,500 – 1,67,400)
- Plus normal allowances including NPA (if applicable).
contractual remuneration
- Professor: Rupee. 2,20,000/- per month
- Additional Professor: Rupee. 2,00,000/- per month
- Associate Professor: Rupee. 1,88,000/- per month
- Assistant Professor: Rupee. Rs 1,42,506/- per month
selection process
- Selection will be done by the Permanent Selection Committee.
- If the number of applicants in any department is more than 30, AIIMS Rae Bareli reserves the right to conduct written examination.
