- Mine Manager (First Class): First Class Coal Mine Manager Competency Certificate and Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering with 02 years experience in opencast coal/lignite mining projects.
- Assistant Manager (Class I): Coal Mine Manager Competency Certificate and Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering with 01 year experience in opencast coal/lignite mining projects.
- Assistant Manager (Class II): Competency Certificate of Class Coal Mines Manager and Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering with 01 year experience in opencast coal/lignite mining projects.
- Mine Surveyor: Certificate of Competency of Coal Mine Surveyor and 02 years experience in opencast coal/lignite mining projects is required.
- Mining Chieftain: Overman or Mining Warden Certificate of Competency is required.
