Selection process
The selection process includes:
- Stage I – Indian Navy Admission Test (INET): With a computer-based test 100 questions From English, science, mathematics and general awarenessNegative marking (0.25 points per wrong answer) is applied.
- Stage II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Tests and Medical Examination
- PFT Standard:
- Male: Run 1.6 km 6 minutes 30 seconds, 20 squats, 15 push-ups, 15 seats
- Woman: In 1.6 km 8 minutes, 15 squats, 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups
- PFT Standard:
- Stage III – Final merit list and enrollment: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their overall performance and medical fitness.
