Age Range: The age limit for this recruitment is 18-23 years. The crucial date for calculating the age limit is 1.1.2024. Age relaxation will be given as per rules.

The selection process for SSC GD Recruitment 2024 consists of the following stages:

• Phase-I: Written Examination
• Stage-2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

• STAGE-3: MEDICAL TEST

What after SSC GD Result 2024?

After the result of SSC GD Constable written exam (CBE) is declared, candidates will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). Details of SSC GD PET and PST are given below.

PET/PST is a qualifying stage. Your performance here will not directly affect your final selection eligibility. Candidates must clear all the components of PET and meet the PST criteria to move to the next selection stage. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Your stamina and patience are evaluated in this stage.

• Race:
  • Male candidates will have to complete the 5 km race in 24 minutes.
  • Female candidates will have to complete the 1.6 km race in 8.5 minutes.
  • For candidates belonging to Ladakh region:
    • Men have to complete the 1.6 km race in 7 minutes.
    • Women will have to complete the 800 meter race in 5 minutes.

Physical Standard Test (PST): Here, your physical measurements are evaluated based on the eligibility criteria:

• Height:
  • Minimum Height for Male: 170 cms
  • Minimum Height for Women: 157 cms

• Chest (for male candidates only):
  • Unexpanded: 80 cm
  • Minimum Expansion: 5cm
