The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 27, 30, 32 years as on 1st August 2024 (as per the post).

IEducational Qualification – SSC CGL Recruitment 2024
Assistant Audit Officer:
- Graduation degree from any recognized University and 60% marks in Mathematics in 12th class.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Statistics as a subject at graduation level.
Statistical Investigator Grade-II:
- Bachelor’s degree in any subject with Statistics as a subject from a recognized University or Institute.
- Candidates must have studied Statistics subject in all three years or all 6 semesters of the undergraduate course.
Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):
- Graduation degree from a recognized university or institute.
All other posts:
- Graduation degree from a recognized University.

Selection Process – SSC CGL Recruitment 2024
The computer based exam will be conducted in two levels as mentioned below.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern
- Tier-I will consist of the following Objective Typemultiple choice questions.
- The questions will be asked in both the ways English and Hindi Except understanding English.
- There negative marking of 0.50 for every wrong answer.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern
- Tier-II will include conducting the following Paper-I, Paper II And Paper-III in different shifts/days.
- Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts.
- Paper-II will be only for those candidates who will apply for the following posts. Junior Statistical Officer(JSO).
- Paper-III will be only for those candidates who are shortlisted Tier-I for Paper-III i.e. for the posts Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.
- It will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify in all the sections of Paper-I.
- There will be negative marking in this. 1 point For each wrong answer in Module-I of Section-I, Section-II and Section-III of Paper-I 0.50 Marks will be awarded for each wrong answer in Paper-II and Paper-III.
